The name PIK comes from Finnish words "Polyteknikkojen Ilmailukerho ry" = An
Aviation club of the Polytechnicians (or something like that in English). The club has been established in the year 1931 I believe. The number 27 is the aircraft design number 27. The club seems to have a site (in Finnish). http://pik.tky.fi/joomla/index.php?o...3&Itemi d=108 JP "Paul Remde" wrote in message:Jhijh.325538$1i1.310861@attbi_s72... Hi, Why the "Pik-27" name?
