![]() Maybe a little OT for this group, but does anyone know what happened to the Kane Aero Company? I was brushing up with my E6-B in prep for the commercial checkride and I have an old Kane Aero MK-6B that I got with my private pilot kit back in 1977. I got to wondering what happened to this company, but a Google search turned up little. I found a couple of MK-6Bs for sale on ebay and some of the manuals similar to my original private pilot set, but nothing on the fate of the company. I assume they are long gone, but was curious if anyone knew for sure. Matt |

I remember Kane and also Felsenthal. Lots of small
companies closed shop when the electronic calculators hit the market. The Minneapolis BBB might have a lead. I searched the Star Tribume and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, but found nothing. Kane may have disappeared before the archives were kept online. Oh well, it was just a curiousity. I thought someone here might live in that area and remember what happened. Matt |
