Be careful, you've just stepped in to a fundamentalist evangelical
mine-field... KJV is incomplete or incorrect! NIV is a communist plot to undermine Christ! The pharisees have a bad habit of getting their panties in a bunch if you suggest that someone might be holier and humbler than thou are... Think of it as a '****ing for jesus' contest. (Christians' note, I am speaking of the new world pentacostal/evangelical/charismatic churches, not Christianity in general...)
