Bob,
You will notice the control party members are wearing Micky Mouse ear
protectors.
Me, I wonder what kind of lens the videographer is using. If he went
from a long lens picking up the aircraft as it came from the west and then
zoomed back to wide angle to keep it in focus as it went past him then he
must have a fantastic camera.
The two solos practiced alone at 1400 hours. At 1418 or so the lead
solo, aircraft in this image, came over our backyard at mach 0.97 lining up
for the sneak pass. I guess he was 300 feet above ground level. He was so
fast I never saw the aircraft. By time I swiveled in my lawn chair he was
gone!! Tom

If you want to see ajet at Mach 0.9+ at low-lwvwel download my
Permission to buzz pics posted earlier. I know this guy was doing
greased weasel **** because I have the video shot from the taxiway.
