If your interested in military aviation, check out this site
http://www.ejection-history.org.uk/P...year_table.htm

Fascinating accounts of worldwide ejection's, all types, all
countries, Mirage, Harrier, Mig 17/19/21, F-105's, A-6's, A-4's, lots
of F-4D's (I didn't know we had that many), B-52's in late 1972. No
hype, no spin, just the hard-hitting facts as given by those who were
forced to "Get out & walk". Martin Baker has saved over 7100 lives
with their excellent seat. I was invited to their celebration when
they hit a thousand saves, now its 7100!
Good on you, Martin Baker!
JJ

JJ,

Thank you for the link.

I just checked and sure enough, there I am February 28, 1970.

However, I am not there when I click on "P". Do I have to register
somewhere on the site for it to appear?

No wonder I couldn't GIVE (really) my Ejection seat away when I left
AZ. The place is littered with them!

A former naval aviator told me their motto was "If it says 'Grumman'
on the outside, it had better say 'Martin Baker' on the inside."

He flew Intruders.

I can't stop reading the site..........check 1968, Neil Armstrong for
punching out of that moon lander thing.............then a Medal of
Honor flight when a chopper plucked two F4J jocks out of the weeds 20
n/w of Vinh.............AT NIGHT! ...............1972 gives details of
Bat 21's along with Cunningham & Driscoll........shouldn't we change
Cunningham's classification to "prisoner" ?
Fascinating stuff,
JJ
