Here's another B-52 picture showing the same "strays". They are from the
wing mounted MER. Each MER held 12 bombs. The "stray" bombs in question are either from the opposite wing MER or from the right MER, part of which in blocked from view by the right, inboard engine pylon. I was stationed in Guam and Okinawa in '67 and '68 and MERs held either 500 or 750 pound iron bombs. "David Hartung" wrote in message . ..
