Default SPOT Versus PLB - The Presentation

All,

During the summer I wrote a RAS posting comparing the SPOT to the ACR
MicroFix PLB. See http://tinyurl.com/plbversusspot for details. The
posting drew some good comments.

I created a presentation out of the posting (including a discussion of
ELT's) and recently gave it at the November meeting of the ChicagoLand
Glider Council (http://chicagolandglidercouncil.com).

I would appreciate if you would review the presentation and give me
your feedback, both good and bad. I am contemplating asking the SSA
to give it at the next convention in 2010.

Please see: http://aviation.derosaweb.net/presentations to download
the PDF.

Thanks,
John DeRosa
