Motor Glider Fatality in Oregon yesterday
A Katana Xtreme, N40440, apparently lost power shortly after take off
from the Bend Oregon airport, made a turn and hit an empty building, killing the pilot. This is very preliminary info and I’m sorry it isn’t more complete. The motor glider was based in California. My condolences to the pilot’s friends and family. If anybody has any more info, please post it here. Boggs
