This has been asked pretty recently. If you do a google search in "groups"
you should come up with quite a list. -- Jim Burns III Remove "nospam" to reply "Bonanza Man" wrote in message ... i'm preparing for an airline checkride and would like suggestions for the most challenging approaches - preferably non-precision and usa. thanks. |

Take a look at Aspen, Colorado, Ketchum Idaho, and Juneau Alaska.

Look up KSUN in Idaho and look at the NDB/DME approach and the notes.
Not one you'd want to fly unless your ADF receiver was in top shape (and preferably were backing it up with a GPS). Actually there is nothing to hit at the MDA for at least 5 miles. The
hardest thing about that approach is seening the airport from 5 miles out if you are unfamiliar. The GPS approach is the one you better not screw up, as there is something to hit! THere is an approach in Canada with at least two different NDBs, so you have to retune in the middle. Mike MU-2 "Max T, CFI" wrote in message news:7iRFb.622623$HS4.4561389@attbi_s01...
