Default OT - Kane Aero Company

Maybe a little OT for this group, but does anyone know what happened to
the Kane Aero Company? I was brushing up with my E6-B in prep for the
commercial checkride and I have an old Kane Aero MK-6B that I got with
my private pilot kit back in 1977. I got to wondering what happened to
this company, but a Google search turned up little. I found a couple of
MK-6Bs for sale on ebay and some of the manuals similar to my original
private pilot set, but nothing on the fate of the company. I assume
they are long gone, but was curious if anyone knew for sure.

Matt
