At one point the FAA told them it was a lot better run than most of the comparable airports in Nevada... of course, they only had to manage it for a week, which they acknowledge. BM itself is truly beyond belief, and not anything like the Rainbow-Gathering hippie heaven a lot of people take it for. Last time I went was in 2005. We built a three-sided viewing tower and gave away about a dozen kegs of homemade root beer. -c  |
