ATC failure in Memphis

http://us.cnn.com/2007/US/09/25/memp...afu/index.html Was it truly an accident? It sure happens at a convenient time for those who want to fuel the argument that there's something wrong with ATC. However, the incident could be used for both pro and con arguments, depending on how it is spun, i.e., one could argue that "ATC lacks the resources it needs," or that "ATC needs to be replaced by something new."
