Beautiful airplane
I've seen several of these on static display at air shows since the fall
of the Iron Curtain, but have never seen one in motion. Typical case of head up and locked. I was referring to the Russian AN-2.

It's been a few years since I visited, but back in 2005 there were as many as seven An-2 for sale at Auburn Municipal Airport (S50) a little south of Seattle. They ranged from "kits" to airworthy at the time. Not sure if they are still there; I don't see them on Google Earth. Bob ^,,^

Saw one flying here in Melbourne (Australia) once - beautiful sound from that big radial too!

The one with the Polish markings must be one of the few jet-engined biplanes ever tested. I seem to recall it was developed by PZL for crop spraying.
