Default Scammers on the glider market

I was notified recently that someone claims to be the rightful owner
of my glider (registration and serial number match) and wants to sell
it.
He states it is located on an airfield where I flew a few years ago,
but not anymore.

My question: what to do?
- Contact the police?
- Post messages on forums and sites like segelflug?

Gi's a clue, where are you and what is the type/reg of your glider.

Just in case one of us is interested in, or in the process of, buying

Kevin

Will post it in a separate thread, not to disturb this one and make it
more visible.

Rooel.

This is the agency I use to sort out the titles of aircraft I buy and sell for a living. Christina will research the FAA's records and tell you what you need to do to prove clear title. I have used her services for everything from gliders to large airliners. Her fees are appropriate.

Do they handle Dutch gliders? :-)

I don't believe so. Their strength is that they are co-located within the FAA's records center in Oklahoma City. However, send an email to Christina..
