I just read in the military newsgroup that the EAA's B-17 had both mains
collapse on landing at the Van Nuys airport. Ted |

What was the deal with the tail wheel shimmy- was that a precursor or
associated with the problem. looked pretty severe if the gear collapsed when they were doing 35 mph..... Pat |
