So, would I have to be insane to buy a complete BD5-B kit? I still remember the
outrageous performance claims when the ads first appeared. What do people use for engines? (I think I can lay my hands on a Czech MiG APU and I have a buddy who is an expert on the Formula Mazda engines). -- Charlie Springer |

Anybody here flown one? They were praised as great flyers (descriptions as
glowing as those by Vans RV pilots) in the 70's and 80's. There are a lot of kist around and partials but I never see finished flying planes. I have assumed it is because there was never a good powerplant solution. -- Charlie Springer |
