Anybody seen the 2005-2006 AOPA airport directory yet?
OK, back at the end of last year, I renewed my AOPA membership, and as a
part of the deal they were to send out the new airport directories, when they were ready, as well as a cap and other tidbits (that little yellow scale thing, stickers and what-not). The hat and the other stuff I don't really need, but that directory is very useful. And if you have looked at a Sporty's catalog to see what they are charging (criminal) I might as well just buy A/FD's every two months. AOPA sent out e-mails, and made it an article in their online newsletters, back in early February that they were 'ready and being mailed!' . Not that AOPA doesn't offer a lot to it's members, but if you are gonna offer it, give it. OK, where the heck is it? -- Hello, my name is Mike, and I am an airplane addict.... |

Have you thrown away what you thought was another AOL CD in the mail recently? (got a biiiig drawer full of old mail...) |

Are you telling me that you use the AOPA airport directory as a substitute for the A/FD? That's probably not a good idea. offer it, give it. OK, where the heck is it? As someone else mentioned, the AOPA directory is not a substitute for
the AF/D, any more than AirNav or the myriad of other directories.
