Do you use the template to trace the pattern on the tube, or do you
glue the template to the tube and keep it there while cutting? - Mike |

Twist the paper around to clock it right. Slap on another piece of tape, with about 1/8" laying on the tube. Cheap scotch tape wants to come apart rahter than off, and you just need a little to hold it in place. -- This is by far the hardest lesson about freedom. Then take off the template and grind away. Dave www.davewilson.cc |

I know this is a late response, but (for what it's worth) my trick is
to wrap the pattern around the tube (in the correct place?) and spray a little white krylon on the exposed tube. Then grind off the painted area. Richard |

Rough cut and tape to the tube, then just cut to the line. -- This is by far the hardest lesson about freedom. It goes against instinct, and morality, to just sit back and watch people make mistakes.
