non TSO AI for co-pilot legal?
Hello,
I'm wondering if its legal to put a 2nd artificial horizon in the plane as a backup if it is not certified? We may want to put one in the plane as a backup... but just wanted to know if we need a certified unit or not. Thanks, -dr

Better approach is to find where it is required. If you can't find it you are home free.
