Jeremy-What is your definition of competitor?
Hmmmm, not to thrash this dead horse any further....but
does the number of pilots who post to the OLC also count as competitors?

There are a lot of people who compete on a casual basis (local clubs, friendly OLC-based rivalries, etc), but that's a far cry from driving hundreds of miles, paying money, certifying loggers, getting a contest number, and filling out the necessary paperwork to compete in a real sanctioned contest.
