Isn't this the WB57 model used for SIGINT missions? With the extended
wing length and wing pods with the secret stuff in them? There used to be a bunch of these at Davis-Mothan, all lined up and ready to fly again. They are most likely gone to the knackers by now. Dave |

I believe they were originally designated RB-57F. They were later
redesignated WB-57F, and used for weather recon. NASA still uses at least one, (they had 3) but with the J-34s removed. They used it to track the Space shuttle on launch. There is another at the Pima County Air Museum, next to Davis Monthan. Several succumbed to wingspar failure. Ron "CWO4 Dave Mann" wrote in message ...
