aerial photo of a dust devil
Howdy -
My friend and former undergrad advisor is looking for an aerial photo of a dust devil or dust devils for a project he's working on. The word "aerial" is key. There are lots of photos on the web from the ground. There also exist photos of Martian dust devils, but he's looking for an earthly photo of a dust devil from an aircraft. Anybody have such they'd be willing to share? If so, please email me at herten-at-cora.nwra.com Thanks! Rolf

At one time there was an excellent aerial photo of a huge dust devil at Krey

The web site mentioned above has 5-6 very good pictures.
There are several videos of dust devils on Youtube. Here is an aerial one from a paraglider http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6CiHm0CZSI. - John
