I heard the same thing about the draft dodger in the 1992 election. I don't
think there was a radical increase in separations.

Then again a bunch of celebrities said they'd leave the country if Bush was
elected. How many did?

I was thinking the same thing. It would be interesting to see the
retention rates on a time scale to see what has the greatest impact -
politics, economy, war, etc.
