Hey -- it's February in Iowa. How much of a life can I have? :-)

Actually, my life is incredibly full, between family, flying, and the
business. 18 hour days are the norm.

I'm just a fast typist, and I don't need much sleep.

His posts are usually entertaining, sometimes ignorant but rarely
arrogant. He's definitely a positive element of these groups so who
cares if we know all about his Inn? I stopped there once, it was the
best motel I stayed at on my journey.

Boy, talk about "damned with faint praise"... ;-)

Hell, if it wasn't for input from a lot of you guys (and gals) we probably
wouldn't have bought the inn. This group has, in many ways, helped to
create our hotel.

Don't take it personally. I'm well known for trash talking
everything. Maybe my shrink can fix it...

So unlike you to beat around the bush, Bob. Tell us what you really think!

Spammer of the month award.

And you win S4B for the month.

Here's a dollar - buy a clue!

You have already been gently chastised for running chronic updates to
your rogue's gallery and been forced by your peers to restrict yourself
to a monthly update.

"Forced by my peers"? You're killing me!

The Rogue's Gallery only exists for participants in this group.

I'm just a lurker who understands clearly what you are doing and why.

If you really, truly believe that I'm posting here as an ulterior method

of
"marketing" the hotel to this group, you clearly have NO understanding of
the lodging industry -- or of me. Do you *really* think I'd spend an hour
here, every day, for years on end, in hopes of luring one or two of you
folks to Iowa?

In February?

Please. Give me a little more credit for brains.

Problem is, Jay, you credit HIM with brains...a most grievous assumption.

Don't try to argue with drunks, idiots, drug users or adolesants; he fits
all four categories.

If anyone else feels the same way then ask Jay the same question
and see for yourself what his response is.

Nope, I don't feel the same way. So long as Jay's sig. adheres to the "--"
standard, (and it does), who cares? Don't change a thing Jay! At least
you've got the guts to put your real name and e-mail address in your posts.
More than can be said about some folks.

Curse you Jay...now I finally know why I wake up every day trying to figure
out how to fly to Iowa City and how I can stay in each of the suites at the
Alexis Park Inn! Since several folks that frequent this group have stayed
at your motel, obviously I'm not the only one affected by your prolific
posting (or the free beer at the pre-OSH gathering).

:-)

Ok, back to reality (whatever that is).

Spammer of the month award.

And if anyone thinks I'm joking - then (politely) ask Jay to drop his
SIG file advert from future posts and see what he says to that idea.

Jay I feel that YOU are spamming these aviation newsgroups with
your SIG file and your constant references to your website and
I am politely asking you to drop any reference to AlexisParkInn
from future postings.

If anyone else feels the same way then ask Jay the same question
and see for yourself what his response is.

What's this "AlexisParkInn" you speak of? Sounds like a place I might
like to visit. Tell me more!

See? Obvious evidence that I'm an incredibly skillful Subliminal Spammer!
