Yep. I buy 'em when I see 'em. On a side note: I rented a plane in Las
Vegas during our February visit the last couple years. The first year I looked for a T-shirt or hat for a souvenir-nope. Last year the had some polo shirts (too espensive) or a hat (proced right) with their logo on it. One important note: Make sure your FBO logo says where you are. This FBO at North Las Vegas had nothing in their logo that said where they were. Al SFF (Spokane, WA) (nope...my local FBO doesn't have anything either) Jay Honeck wrote: Mary had this brainstorm the other day; I present it here for your opinion... Every Harley dealer in America seems to have their own custom-designed T-shirt. Usually it's got the Harley-Davidson logo, combined with the local dealer's name, and some recognizable symbol. Our local Harley shop has the old State Capitol on his (the most historic and recognizable symbol of Iowa City), for example. Many (most?) Harley owners seem to collect these shirts. Wherever they visit, (and we've had Harley rider guests who have done this), they make a bee-line to the local dealer, to buy their shirt. It's kind of a neat tradition. Why not do something similar at airports? If each FBO had a snazzy T-shirt that was specific and unique to *their* FBO, and their location, would you not buy it? I know I would. Mary has often remarked about how cold and stand-off-ish so many FBOs are (with some major exceptions, of course), and how it would be great to be able to purchase souvenirs from local airports along our many cross-country flights. This T-shirt idea would be slick, because (a) it would fill a perceived need, (b) it wouldn't represent much of an investment from always cash-strapped FBOs, and (c) there are tens of thousands of airports, all over the country. Anyone out there own a T-shirt shop? Could not, say, the Wizard of Draws be employed creating unique designs for each airport? Does this dog hunt? |

I don't even wear T-shirts, and I'd buy one from an FBO. I've had to make myself happy with business cards so far. :-) I love my collection of FBO business cards. This makes me laugh.... I thought I was the "only one" :-) My wife says, the only "proof" I have been to an airport is the FBO card. Fuel tickets / receipts don't count! Purchase in the city don't count. It must be that FBO card. Sadly enough, I have come across 7 FBO's that don't even have a card! Allen |

I guess I'll have to visit the bigger airports that have people around and an FBO that sells stuff. ;-) There are some of the fly-in breakfasts that I've been to that sell t-shirts and polo shirts. I've got a t-shirt from the 1st annual Fly-In at Burt International and another from an Ercoupe fly-in in Texas, although I didn't attend either. You'll need to get some shirts to sell for your Big Kids Toy Show! |

It might, but my experience is that pilots aren't pack animals like Harley owners seem to be. I'm in the American Voyager Association and the group has a saying that Voyager owners are like Eagles, you don't find us in flocks. :-) I think pilots are more like Eagles than like buzzards. :-) :-) Matt |

Does this dog hunt? Don't think so, however, the FBO at 47N has had shirts made up and available in the pilot supplies. You might contact them and see how many they've sold. http://www.centraljerseyairport.com I didn't buy one.
