Having just washed and waxed the car with Zaino, I am wondering if
anyone has used it on their sailplane. The Zaino web site states that it is OK for fiberglass and gel coat. Any one used it? What results/problems? ASW27BV |

If I had a -27 I wouldn't let that stuff anywhere near it without
knowing exactly what's in it. Tip: http://www.eglider.org/newsarticles/...ndpolishes.htm Personally I use Wx/Seal and Wx/Block from W&W. ~ted/2NO V2C |

Tip: http://www.eglider.org/newsarticles/...ndpolishes.htm I called Mother's a year or two back and was treated very rudely by one of their staff. He wouldn't tell me *if* there was silicone in any products and said I shouldn't use any of their products on aircraft. Kind of an asshole really. Guess I won't buy their products for my car either, which if you saw my cars you would know was a forgone conclusion anyway :-) Personally I use Wx/Seal and Wx/Block from W&W. Ditto, fairly easy to apply, long lasting shine. Shawn |

![]() Ditto, fairly easy to apply, long lasting shine. All well and good (and I use WX Block too) but that wasn't the question. Tony V. http://home.comcast.net/~verhulst/SOARING |

I researched car care products several years ago. Two car places I
talked to had nothing good to say about Zaino. Their concern was that the manufacturer would not tell them what was in it, and they felt that there would be refinishing problems if it was used. On various BMW web sites there was hot debate about Zaino; but from what I saw the negatives outweighed the positives. Unfortunately, I don't remember any specifics now. I decided to go with Meguiar's products for my BMW. For my glider I'm sticking with WxSeal and WxBlock. -John wrote: Having just washed and waxed the car with Zaino, I am wondering if anyone has used it on their sailplane.
