News is it was a light aircraft. Look for NYC to ask for an ADIZ.

As I expected, Bloomberg just said (in response to a question) that the
crash has no security implications. It was merely an unfortunate accident
with no broader significance, he said.

Yeah, whatever. This stuff is inevitable. As I have said. Deal with
it.

Its also inevitable that a 16 year old kid with a new car will go out and wreck it.

How many so far this year? Slammings? The FAA/AOPA **** me off. I
don't care if you guys kill yourselves, but there have been several
people on the ground killed already this year.

How many teenagers were killed this year in a car mommy and daddy bought
them?

Combined with the horrendous noise pollution, water pollution,
subsidies, etc. What a joke!

Pollution? Sheesh... try driving anywhere near any US High School in the
morning or in the afternoon and look at the traffic jams caused by all the
students driving their cars.... talk about pollution and waste of fuel!

This VFR stuff especially needs to be better regulated. But the FAA
wants everyone in the AIR!! Yahoo!!! 20 hours, present a drivers
license, and you can fly 1000 feet over anyones house. F--ing insanity!

You continue to demonstrate your simple minded, blithering idiocy every
day on this newsgroup. I'm sure you are very proud.

Wow, I guess that really made your day.

Only 22 minutes from people dying to you gloating about it here.

I thought you had said " goodbye loosers" ?

You sir are the looser.. When did you drop out of flight school ? Was it the
first time you practiced a stall and ****ed your pants ? Or were you just
not able to cut the knowledge requirements of becoming a pilot ?

Anyway just because you failed or never even tried don't be a hater.. I am
sure there are a thousand things you can't do or can't do well, do you go
and cry on those newsgroups ?

P.S. I know you are a simple little troll and I have just given you what
you really want (attention) but it was fun to practice my typing skills.

A full year since I last read this group regularly, I come back to see
if there are any more facts on what exactly might have happened, and
here's good 'ol Skylune trolling away and all of us biting. In a world
in which coffee comes in every flavor except for coffee, you can't
smoke a Marlboro anywhere there's a roof over your head, but two dudes
can get married, it's kinda nice to see some things never really change.

It is despicable to see you so overjoyed about this.

An ADIZ would NOT be popular with this mayor. Too many high-powered
businessmen use copters to commute to work in Manhattan.

Kev

And the fact that the mayor is a pilot...

Pataki, on the other hand, dived right in like the moron he has
demonstrated himself to be for years. He's calling for the TFR over the
city to remain in effect indefinitely. An ADIZ will probably be his next
demand as soon as someone explains to him what one is.

P2. of todays WSJ:

"Manhattan Plane Crash Points to Vulnerabilities"

Lead article in today New York Times. Quote by Gov. Pataki: "New
Yorks airspace should enjoy the same kind of protections as our
nation's capital."

Similar themes last night on Chris Matthews.

I was right. Again.

Out.
