![]() Actually the world ended at 2400 GMT 31 December 1999. It seems rec.aviation.homebuilt isn't Y2K compliant. Dan, U.S. Air Force, retired Dunno 'bout dat, looking at all the glass-panel doohickey articles in Kitplanes. |

Being the lazy bum that I am, if WordPerfect didn't flag it as wrong, it was good enough for me. I insisted I was right and she looked it up to prove me wrong only to find I was right. Some college profs get a god complex and have a hard time handling being proved wrong... Tony |

I'm sure it didn't reflect on your final grade - nor recommendations for graduate studies. I'll bet you're a real hoot at work! Many a supervisor makes mistreaks which need correcting. At the time (close to 20 years ago,) that battle was worth it. As I recall I got a B in that class and that's the same grade I got in all other writing classes that I took. On the other hand, I once proved a computer science instruction wrong and I took a hard reaming on that class. Rather than fighting it, I took it as a lesson to keep copies of everything. Tony |
