We knew it was coming, and now it's unveiled. That is one foxy plane!

Single engine and a parachute. I want one :-)~

It looks short coupled to me.
Notice the similarity to Global Hawk?
Seating for seven.
Guess what the range with seats full will be?
This one will be really interesting to see how the loading
configurations will vary.
300 kts max cruise... so a two hour leg will be considered normal.

Yes, according to the web site. Look at the fake tower transcript.

John,

Notice the similarity to Global Hawk?

Uhm, notice the similarity to the D-Jet?

No. D-Jet's engine is buried in the lower aft fuselage.
Global Hawk and C-Jet engine are atop the fuselage between av-tail.

So, this is Cirrus' new "fork-tailed doctor killer"? Nice.

Cool plane. I think it looks like a cross between Piper Jet and the
the V-Jet that Williams was using as an engine test/proof platform
about 10 years ago.

It will be interesting to see how all of these VLJs do competing for
airspace and clearances to 20k+ feet on the typical 200-300nm journey.

If they stick to smaller airports and uncontrolled fields it shouldn't
be too bad (I hope)
