Further to my earlier picture of a .5 from the crashed B-24 near Gairloch,
I visited the spot in 2004 and took the attached: At the extreme left-hand point of the triangle formed by the lochan can be seen a prop blade sticking up out of the water. Most of the wreck is in the water, with some strewn over the hillside to the left. There is now a memorial. |
