I hope Glen comes back and says a bit more about this aircraft.
But - given that there is a Lockheed Constellation (Connie VH-EAG) in the
background - it was possibly added to the collection operated by Australias
Historical Aircraft Restoration Society HARS.
This is speculation on my part.

www.hars.org.au - but be advised that the site was down at 0145Z 1st
October - although it was ok when I had a look at the site 12 hours ago.

I think you'll find that Connie was in Narromine over the weekend, as was
the Albatross, as well as Glenn. AFAIK HARS does not own an Albatross, but
when I was at HARS for their last open day, the was a wingless Delfin
alongside the main hangar wall, but it seems that it is not on HARS'
inventory.

Correct. At the Narromine airshow on the weekend.
The L-39 is Bathurst based and one of at least 3 about to be flying.
The other 2 close are at Maitland and Archerfield.
Then there are more in a lesser state around the country.

Still nowhere near as many that were at this years Oshkosh. But we don't
have the population the Americans do.
we opted for the Quality over quantity ;-)
