Use ALt-print. I.e. hold down the alt key whilst pressing
the Print key. This will copy the active window to the clipboard. Open up a receiving application e.g. Paint, Word, new (rich text or HTML) email in Outlook etc. and press ctrl-V (hold control while pressing v) to paste output. Roy If I understand the question correctly then the solution is: Click on file; click on "save as"; name the file; change the format from IGC to JPG (or whatever); select the desired directory; and, finally click on "Save." There is several ways:
1. In See You - how does one capture a page (for example a task/map) so that it can be copied and emailed or linked to for someone without See You? This is one way to capture a picture of your flight. There are a few limitations. It will always save the Route view of the whole flight. It will be saved as a JPG file on your disk (you get to choose the location and size of the image). You can't save 3D, graphs or statistics through this feature. 2. Or - how to make a See You page a PDF or a jpeg file for the same = purpose? Saving to PDF is not a SeeYou native feature for a good reason. There are several free and very capable software which can do the PDF output for you. I personally use www.cutePDF.com. It installes as a printer. To use it in SeeYou you go to File Print (or File Page setup or File Print Preview if you wish to make modifications). When you wish to print, select "CutePDF Writer" as your printer. The output will go to a PDF file on your disk rather than paper. Direct link: http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp 3. If I understand the question correctly then the solution is: Click on file; click on "save as"; name the file; change the format from IGC to JPG (or whatever); select the desired directory; and, finally click on "Save." This is the third option. It's got nothing to do with SeeYou - it's a built in Windows featu 1. Press PrtScr key on the keyboard (seemingly nothing had happened) 2. Open Word or a any graphics software 3. Select Edit-Paste (you should now see the screenshot you took in #1) 4. Save what you have just done 5. Send this file by email Regards, Andrej Kolar -- glider pilots use http://www.SeeYou.si/ |

Or, if your keyboard doesn't have the Print key, use a simple "Screen Capture" program like for example Bilderman http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=39 It will save a jpg file to a directory of your choice, anytime you press Ctrl+F11 Aldo Cernezzi |

Scrren shot capture on a PC (no idea on Mac) is ctrl-print scrn. Hold
both keys down at same time. Print Scrn is usually at top of keyboard to the right of all the function keys. It works for static screen display...not sure it will capture a video frame or whatever. Once you do this, just use paste on a Word document (or probably any other program that has a paste function. No guarantee, but give this a try...
