Separation after release
Was looking for a report of the Uvalde incident mentioned in another
thread and found this: http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?e...11X01215&key=1 Glad everyone got down ok but have to wonder why the glider and the tug were at the same altitude, and in the same place, a minute after release. Andy

Andy Hmm, off the top the 'how' seems easier to explain as it seems like a classic case of "high wing/low wing" but adapted to a glider operation. This of course still does not answer the question as to why. Also glad everyone's alright... -Paul
