The poor ******* is an obsessed FAA Manager who can't stand the truth
and hates unions and union members. Sometime in the past some union rep
must have destroyed his career or called him on the carpet for his
outdated sawmill management techniques and now he silently stews in his
juices wondering what might have been.

Sad huh?

Yep. If "Mike" knew anything, he would know that I have answered no posts
to bertie in a pretty long time. He isn't worth it, and is _only_ worth
ignoring.

What does burn my ass is someone that thinks he isn't such a bad guy.
Please!!!

I didn't know Morgans was on Bertie's "lits o' hate". Let me check my
recollection: Mxsmanic, Maxwell et al, Jay Honeck, ... alas, no joy, er,
Morgans.

No, but perhaps this will be enough to get me there.

Let me check Dudley's "lits o' annoyance": Morgans, ... ah, there it is
right near the top.

Yep. Dudley has his bad days, and I was there for his. I've been there
before, and was once removed from the list. Now, frankly, I don't care. He
also sees things much like Mike on subjects like Bertie, and another which
will go nameless, (that unspoken, unreplied approach _has_ been used with
great success for past characters - but some will never agree to using
restraint in this case) which I will never understand; to see how any
reasonable person can see things from that point of view.

Hey - you could investigate this Jim Morgans in NC, figure out his real
name and location and then announce it to the world. That'd show him!

I could care less, other than the obvious lack of netiquette shown by an
action such as that. I have never kept it a secret, 'cause I have nothing
to hide.

Normally, Mike does not get any reaction from me, because my level of
respect for him has already fallen about as low as it can go.

But really, Bertie's not so bad? Hmmmmmmmm.

Jim I'm not going to praise Bertie whatsoever, but I have
noticed with all the Bertie bashing that has taken place, he
(or she) has started to contribute actual information more and more.
Weather it's from peer pressure or just tired of swallowing his
own crap, he is contributing, however after reading this I'll bet he
reverts. If you really want to know his name, ask Jay M.

Bertie has always contributed somewhat, but no more the many, many others.

But no matter what he has or will contribute, he can never repay what he has
taken. Even if we got lucky and the ******* vanished today, it would take
this group years to regain the expertise we have lost, and rid ourselves of
the sock puppets he has encouraged to join the group.

Bertie and anyone that socks him, or encourages him, is nothing more than
vermin.

Bertie answers queries like the one about the airliner that landed
short because of fuel starvation.

From the depth of the answers he's at home with the theory and
practice of 'heavies'

From my knowledge of him he treats the curious well answering their
questions.

He, however does not suffer fools gladly, a trait that on newsgroups
is an admirable thing.

So if I do not suffer a fool gladly, I should cross-post my followups to
said fool to the alt.usenet.kooks et al groups?

If I'd known cross-posting to irrelevant groups was considered admirable by
most Usenet posters I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have stuck around for the
last two decades.

I think you miss the point on what made Bertie persona non grata to a fair
number of people who read r.a.p.

When he stops responding to "the one whose name must not be mentioned"
entirely, and stops cross posting to the loon and kook groups, that will be
the first step towards not being referred to as Bernie the Butlhole.

It will take a couple years of good behavior to redeem his name for the
damage he has done, if it is even possible to redeem his name, IMHO.

Weather it's from peer pressure or just tired of swallowing his

It matters not why he went on his campain of destruction, or why he stops.
(if he does)

The damage is done, and he has contributed greatly to the magnitude.

He can swallow all he wants, and then some.

Most likely, he will just switch to a friendly screen name, and possibly, be
a model citizen. That has been his M.O. in the past, I believe.

I doubt that we have seen the end of Bertie type destruction, as of yet, as
he reverts to his typical posts of destruction, though. I would love to be
proven wrong.

If you really want to know his name, ask Jay M.

I really don't care, and have no use for scum that would crap in his own
bed, as he has.

I wouldn't **** on him if he was on fire.

Enough. I gotta keep my blood pressure under control.

See-ya.

How he went about "not suffering fools gladly" in all the wrong ways, when
he started cross posting to all the kook groups. The senseless jabs were
bad enough, but if he had stopped there, he would have been no worse or
better than many others. He didn't stop there, though.

There can be no doubt as to the damage he has done, and there can be no
justifying his actions by the good contributions he has made.

A person that sets a hotel on fire, then stops on the way home to help
someone change a flat on the side of the road would still be arrested for
arson, if he was caught.

Same thing here.

No free pass for evil deeds, in my opinion.

Funny thing. We haven't heard from him in a weirdly long while. Plane
crash? Arrested for sex offenses? Finally found a woman? Who knows.

Ehh, he'll prob be back.
