Interesting aircraft. See:
http://www.unrealaircraft.com/hybrid/He111Z.php Built from two HE 111H bombers joined by a new wing centre section carrying 3 engines, it was designed to tow the new heavy gliders - the Me.321 and the Ju.322. It was brought into service only 3 months after prototype build and was, apparently, quite successful. With the pilot in the left fuselage and the copilot in the right there could have been some interesting CRM issues ;-) -- Mike Mackenzie (AVCOM Services) Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Remove "XYZ" from the "Reply to" address when responding by email. |
