That was a good movie - always loved the Hughes 500 in that.

I have a picture of the R/C models that were used in the film, see if I can
find it. The cockpit section of the modified 'Gazelle' helicopter stil
resides on one of the movie lots in Hollywood.

I saw a clip shown on television in the early 1980s with the "Dam
Busters" theme as sound track. The clip showed a Lanc beginning a take
off run or high speed taxi, I forget which. It isn't until the airplane
runs into the back of a vehicle that it becomes evident it was an RC
model. The clip made during the filming of "Dam Busters."

I also remember a movie which I think starred the lead from Harry O, David
Janssen - it shows a Hughes 500 helicopter chasing another helicopter, which
was an Aerospatiale Allouette II from memory - quite spectacular stuff.

And I _vaguely_ remember another 500 chasing some bad guys down a city
street - I have no idea what the movie was, but I'll never forget it (the
buildings looked like a movie lot, but the helicopter looked and 'acted'
full-sized).
