Neer ceases to amaze me that they make them wear Canno's but then have to
wear a high vis jacket.

That cracks me up, 'cant-see-me' suits with hi-viz jackets.


Reminds me of when the South Australian Police tried powder blue as the base
colour for their patrol cars. It turns out that powder blue is the
least likely to be seen from the corner of the eye.


Within a year, the same cars were equipped with reflective blue and
orange/pink stripes down the sides, after a series of collisions involving
motorists who didn't see them out of the corner of their eyes.


Within about 5 years, SAPol went for the more traditional white colour with
appliqué markings, probably for the increased resale value.
