Did anyone happen to notice the OLC flights logged by Mark Rebholz in
the WWII vintage Liaster-Kauffman glider out of Arizona on the 21st and 22nd? Great flights for such an old machine! Congratulations! Steve PS |

It is made of sticks and tissue, a far cry from the high tech strong materials found in modern hang gliders. Yes you can fly a modern hang glider far on a good day, but it takes a set of stones and some good piloting skills to take a 65 or 70 year old aircraft made of glue wood and fiber out on a strong day. Way to go Mark! Phooey on the Ego punks that don't recognize what he is doing.... |

The amazing thing is: these are closed circuit flights! This kind of
closed circuit distance in a hang glider or paraglider is very rare indeed... |
