And another thing – don’t leave your car near them if it has been recently resprayed. My syndicate partner did, while he left it to come searching for me in the farmhouse. When we got back, it was down to the primer.

I bet you all saw the Thomas Crown affair (Pierce Brosnan version). When the Duo landed in a field full of cows I explained to all my companions what a bad idea that was, and that he would not have been so relaxed about it. But presumably there was a large film crew to keep the cows off the glider. If I remember rightly (which may not be the case!) we did not see what happened next - he pulled out a mobile phone after they got out of the glider, and the next thing we saw they were in a private jet.

At York Soaring in Canada, if you land short on 32 you're in the field with
the bulls from the Portugese bullring south of the field. I've got an
aluminum plane painted red, ant it was on my mind when low on final one
aday after arriving dehydrated and low on sugar one day, making some poor
decisions . . . . .

Anyone got any stories to share?

Well, there is the story about the PW-5 and the amorous bull...

FP, you want to chime in?

--- news://freenews.netfront.net/ - complaints: ---

Ahh beat me to it. FP's account alone is finally the proof I need to backup my statement that the PW5 looks like a cow.

Got to love the title of the news-feed: Drone vs. Cow
So now every 'Almost Ready To Fly' model airplane out of the box becomes a 'Drone' just because it can carry a miniature camera? Made me chuckle ....
