Default Wing wheel for a Mini Nimbus

A friend and I recently purchased a Mini Nimbus. I'm interested in acquiring a wing wheel to make it easy for one person to move the glider around.

Are there any out there and available?

Are there any out there and available that are going cheap?

Thanks,
Van

They are very simple to make and don't have to be a really good fit. Any
cuff that will fit over the wing without pinching or flopping around will be
just fine.

If you want a wing wheel that really fits your wing profile and will not nibble nastily at aileron and flap trailing edges I would suggest that you contact Mark Mocho (M&M Fabrication). Tel: 505-298 2922. His wing wheels also work well in serious cross winds.
I am a well satisfied customer.

Howard-

Thanks for the recommendation. Only problem with the post is the incorrect telephone number. I have moved to Moriarty from Albuquerque, and my cell number is 505 249-0161. Email remains the same: mark (at) mmfabrication (dot) com

I also disagree with Dan's assertion that a wing wheel doesn't have to be a very good fit. I have seen a bunch of damaged trailing edges and ailerons due to badly fitting wing wheels.

Sorry to disagree with you, Mark, but a tight fit on the left wing will not
work on the right wing. Think taper. I do agree, however, with what you
said about the trailing edge.
