That the increase in workload associated with deploying a turbo causes accidents (bad accidents) when the pilot is also trying to conduct the flight or circuit at low level. I am sorry, it was a somewhat over-reaction spurred on by my dislike of turbos. I think they are dangerous because of the poor operating design of most. Glider workshops are full of them. I too hope the pilot recovers well. Jim
