I, and obviously some others as well, see his daily update notices as
an advertising ploy. I agree with your biweekly suggestion but I also
I suggest that he should not crosspost them. If he posts update
notices to his website, he should post them to each newsgroup
separately and let the replies (pro, con, or indifferent) fall where
they may in each newsgroup.

Over the years, we've had a number people who regularly posted fun stuff
here, but quit posting when the negativism became overwhelming. Let's not
add another to the list.

Perhaps those "fun stuff" posters had commercial ulterior motives as
well, hence the eventual negativity.
