Agreed. I won't fly hard IFR with a dry pump, and I laugh each time I throw one of those Parker Hannafin "mandatory" notices in the trash, unopened. The last wet pump I had overhauled had over 3000 hours on it, and the overhaul facility changed the bearings, just so they could say they had done something. I agree. Dry pumps should be outlawed! :-) Matt |
