Not a bad plan, but keep in mind that a decent paint job and a reman engine are going to cost significantly more than the $17K you stated in the original post. Something in the neighborhood of $23K would be more realistic. John Galban=====N4BQ (PA28-180) Yeah, I was originally thinking overhaul but its been overhauled once before. A reman bumps the price a few notches. It doesn't sound like much if you say it fast. Ed I owe, I owe, I owe, so its off to work I go.
