I draw a chalk outline of a body on the front steps and toss religious tracts around it. Works really well at keeping 'em away.

Of course, they were back for a follow up session a few days later, and the chicken that I am, I got my roommate to tell them that I wasn't there (and he told them that he was not interested)! Ah well .....
