You might consider including that info for the museums who offer it. I believe the Robert Pond Air Museum on Palm Springs Airport also provides visitor rides. The aircraft in this museum are restored to a condition that probably exceeds that when they were newly constructed. Robert Pond was a Navy combat pilot in WW-II, and many, many of the aircraft that participated in that conflict are represented, and although the Paris Le Borget Museum contains aircraft that span the era from the dawn of powered flight to present day, Pond's aircraft are remarkably restored to beautiful condition. |
