If you need VOR, then Norwood is your best bet. I'll second for Norwood -- I landed there on a trip to Boston a couple of months ago and had a good experience. The airport is a 5 minute cab ride from the Route 128 train station, so it's easy to get into town (or down to Rhode Island) from the airport. At the time, parking and gas were reasonable, and it's just outside what I think of as the Boston Security (i.e. B.S.) zone, so it doesn't have the landing fees, security fees, prop lock requirements, etc. All the best, David |
