Subject: New Robinson R66??
Anyone seen or heard anything on the new six place Robinson? I understand it will be Turbine powered. Saw that it would be called the R-55, a 5 seater, but at the HAI Convention Frank Robinson emphasized that it wouldnt happen until they find the right engine. Preliminary work continues on three alternatives: a turbine, diesel and turbocharged Lycoming. Robinson likes the diesel but they have to "get the weight out".
