The bolt in the middle of the scissor should be tightened a little. Then you can lift it from the top without pulling the piston out of the cylinder AS Thanks Al, The problem I had was with a 2-jack set-up on my ASH-25 trailer. Should we be using DOT-3 automotive brake fluid in your jacks? JJ Sinclair
