What aircraft did you do your silver distance qualifying
50k flight in? Eon Olympia 2B Enstone to Nympsfield UK Arrived at 3000ft above the site and flew a mile beyond it(sightseeing) The wind was blowing down the ridge and I nearly didnt make it back. 1-24 glide angle + 8knts of sink + 10 knts of wind ouch! I did my 5 hrs in a K8 with no flap over the aerotow hook in the nose. I was so cold at the end that I needed help to get out of the glider
